The eight beatitudes are the teachings of Jesus during his Sermon on the Mount.
The beatitudes are considered by the Church, to contain the most concise summary of the spiritual life of man and eight in count.
1. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
They have truly been given God's blessing.
2. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
They also are truly blessed.
3. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
This has been destined for them from birth.
4. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
This is the Lord our God's will.
5. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
This shall be there for all to see.
6. Blessed are pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Theirs is a pure heart blessed by all that's good.
7 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
They are truly blessed and perfect and far from flawed.
8. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
They too have gained the Lord our God's blessing.
Be the last of all, the servant of all, do not judge others and share all.
You have truly heard the Lord our God's call.
Consider well the people you and others have lost, the things you have not done well, and the things you long for.
Consider this and all that has gone before.
Be slow to anger and drop the ego.
This is the path on which we should go.
Love peace and be involved in helping others to make peace. Trust everyone and know they may let you down.
In doing this you will be a good counsel to the crown.
Strive to do the right thing. Forgive others then yourself.
Forgive others ahead of everyone else.
Look at things from the eyes of others.
Look at things from the eyes of another.
Build your castle with blameless foundations.
Your castles shall stand tall amongst the nations.
Do not stop doing the right thing because of others.
Do the right thing towards one another.
